Manda Bay
Nestled on Kenya’s quiet northern coast, Manda Bay is a family-run lodge-style retreat where wild adventure, conservation, and barefoot luxury come together. Guests stay in bandas with no windows, fostering a true connection with the surrounding environment. Manda Bay is built on a foundation of friendship, adventure, and a shared love for the wild Kenyan coast, offering a unique and authentic experience. The story of Manda Bay began with an unexpected adventure. In 2001, friends Andy Roberts and Fuzz Dyer embarked on a journey to purchase a boat, which led them to discover and ultimately acquire The Blue Safari Club on Manda Island. Renamed Manda Bay, the lodge opened its doors in 2003, embodying the same warmth, curiosity, and joy that initiated the entire endeavor. Today, Manda Bay stands as a private island retreat, offering unparalleled luxury and tranquility. It provides an "up market 5* Robinson Crusoe experience," where guests can enjoy comfortable bedrooms, luxurious linens, and breathtaking views overlooking the beach.
